API Enterprise
The published Stock Report for the company behind one listing: a weekly long-form analytical write-up generated from ORTEX data, delivered as Markdown. Name the company by any of its listings; every listing of a company answers with the same report.
Enterprise keys receive the full article body.
Checking whether a report exists
A company with no published report returns a 200 with an empty 'data' array and 'meta.emptyReason' of noDataAvailableForInstrument, so an existence check needs no separate endpoint. A listing that does not resolve is a 404 instrumentNotFound, which is a different question.
No date range
A report is regenerated in place rather than published as a new row each week, so this endpoint takes no from_date or to_date; 'version' tells revisions apart.
JSON only
A report carries a Markdown body and nested objects, so this endpoint is JSON only.
Try it out! You can test the API with the trial key TEST. Simply include it in your request headers; either here, or add the header "Ortex-Api-Key": "TEST" to your http request.
Trial key restrictions: Trial keys may be limited to a specific date range and set of regions. Requests outside the allowed regions or entirely outside the allowed date range are rejected; a date window that partially overlaps the allowed range is trimmed to it, reported in meta.restriction.
