API TraderAPI QuantAPI Developer
Upcoming and recent earnings announcements across the ORTEX US earnings universe, with the announcement time where the company has published one.
Use it as an earnings calendar: the default window runs from a week ago to a month ahead, so one call answers both what has just reported and what reports next.
Available Data Points:
- Exchange / Ticker: The exchange symbol and ticker of one active listing of the company (its lowest-numbered active trading item), as v1 returned them.
- Company: The company's full name.
- ORTEX CID: The public ORTEX company id, for joining rows to other ORTEX datasets. An announcement belongs to the company rather than to one listing, so no security or trading item id is given.
- Datetime: The most important date and time of the announcement,
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mmZ(UTC). - Title: A human-readable headline for the announcement, e.g. 'Q4 Earnings 2025'.
- Description: The announcement's summary, including the session (before or after market) where known.
- Estimated Date: True when the date is an estimate (a derived expected release date) rather than one the company has announced. An estimate is replaced by the announced date once one exists.
- Event Type Name: The source event type name, which says the same thing in words.
Filtering
from_date and to_date bound the announcement date. Both are optional: from_date defaults to seven days ago and to_date to 30 days after from_date. The window may span at most 31 days. For one company's full announcement history, use the single-stock earnings endpoint instead. Coverage is the ORTEX US earnings universe (universe 1940, the set the v1 earnings endpoint reads), not every company ORTEX covers.
Try it out! You can test the API with the trial key TEST. Simply include it in your request headers; either here, or add the header "Ortex-Api-Key": "TEST" to your http request.
Trial key restrictions: Trial keys may be limited to a specific date range and set of regions. Requests outside the allowed regions or entirely outside the allowed date range are rejected; a date window that partially overlaps the allowed range is trimmed to it, reported in meta.restriction.
